Lauryn is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (LMFT-Intern), currently working toward licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist. She graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) in 2022 with a B.A. in Psychology and a B.A. in Fine Arts with a concentration in drawing, painting, and printmaking. During her time at UNLV, Lauryn worked in a sports psychology research lab, focusing on the optimization of the self with various child and adolescent populations. She also founded an art-based social organization for students, demonstrating her commitment to integrating creative expression with mental health support.
Beyond her academic experience, Lauryn has worked as a Registered Behavior Technician for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), an Instructional Aide for high school students in need of learning supports, and a Qualified Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Professional (QIDP)/Independent Services Coordinator (ISC) for individuals of all ages with varying diagnoses. Lauryn’s extensive experience working with diverse populations has reinforced her passion for making a positive difference in the lives of individuals from all backgrounds.
Lauryn has received advanced training in assessments for ADHD, strengthening her ability to work with clients facing ADHD-related challenges and enhancing her diagnostic capabilities.
With a preference for Experiential Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Emotionally-Focused Therapy, Lauryn uses a trauma-informed approach to help clients increase their sense of safety, self-advocacy, and hope. She is deeply committed to empowering individuals and supporting their journey toward healing and growth.
